Berth nos. 14 and 16 at Deendayal port inaugurated

The central government inaugurated cargo berth nos. 14 and 16 at Deendayal port on March 8, 2019. The berths will add a combined capacity of 9 mtpa (4.5 mtpa each) at the port. Developed at an investment of Rs 2.8 billion (Rs 1.4 billion each), the berths have been designed to handle 75,000 deadweight tonnage vessels with a draught of 13 metres.
