Indian Telephone Industries Limited has set up a new telecom testing facility in Bengaluru in collaboration with DoT to enable safety and security of telecom equipment in the country. This is in sync with the recently launched National Digital Communications Policy that makes it mandatory to conduct proper testing, validation and security certification of various components of the telecom network in an effort to secure them from internal and external threats.
