Adani Group and BASF signs MoU for petrochemical production hub

An MoU has been signed between the Adani Group and BASF for a Rs 160 billion petrochemicals production hub at Mundra in Gujarat. The firms will form a JV, in which BASF is expected to hold a majority stake. The scope of investment encompasses the development, construction and operation of production plants for propane dehydrogenation, oxo C4 (butanols and 2-ethyl hexanol), glacial acrylic acid, butyl acrylate and other downstream products.
