The Container Corporation of India has signed an MoU with Russian railways company RZD Logistics for developing multimodal logistics services along the International North South Transport Corridor (INSTC).
The MoU seeks to explore opportunities in developing joint logistical projects in India and Russia using international transport corridors, in particular, the INSTC. With the signing of the MoU, both companies intend to enhance Indian-Russian logistical cooperation, develop prospective projects related to container transshipment between the countries and design new top quality logistical services. The strategic alliance will strive to take innovative initiatives to reduce the total logistics cost of international trade, enhancing logistical efficiency and improving bilateral relations.
