Six firms signs O&M agreement for floating terminals under Haldia-Allahabad IWT

A total of six firms have signed agreements for the operations and maintenance (O&M) of floating terminals under the Haldia-Allahabad inland water transport (IWT) project (National Waterway-1). The six firms are Royal Network for terminals at Botanical Garden and Tribeni (Rs 0.161 million and Rs 0.006 million respectively), M/S Vineet Kumar for the Swaroopganj and Katwa terminals (Rs 0.426 million and Rs 0.671 million respectively), B. Trading & Company for the Hazarduari terminal (Rs 0.12 million), M/S Anjan Kumar Ghosh for terminals at Haldia, upstream Farakka and downstream Farakka (Rs 0.309 million, Rs 0.713 million and Rs 0.105 million respectively), French Enterprises for the Budge-Budge terminal (Rs 0.224 million) and GJP Enterprise for the Shantipur terminal (Rs 0.719 million). The O&M of these terminals will be undertaken during the period October 2018 to March 2019.
