NABARD signs agreement with GCF to fund rooftop solar projects

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development has signed an agreement worth Rs 7,130 million with the Green Climate Fund to support private sector initiatives for the creation of rooftop solar power projects across India. The assistance is part of a Rs 16,301.25 million project for the development of solar projects of 250 MW capacity, executed by Tata Cleantech Capital Limited, the national implementing entity for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change that supports the efforts of developing countries in responding to the challenge of climate change.
