The Ministry of Railways (MoR) has approved a 234.12 km railway line from Jammu to Poonch, to be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 23.7 billion. The line is expected to be constructed within a span of three years and will traverse through Akhnoor, Kaleeth, Dori Dager, Chowki Chowra-Bhambla, Sunderbani, Rajouri and Poonch.
