Jet Airways and IndiGo sign code-share agreements to expand operations

Jet Airways has signed a code-share agreement with Saudi-based airline Flynas to operate flights in their respective territories, effective December 11, 2018. As part of the agreement, Jet Airways will place its marketing code “9W” on Flynas flights between the gateway cities of Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh, thus providing its guests travelling from India the option of travelling to Saudi Arabian cities of Medina, Gizan, Gassim and Abha. Flynas will offer its guests access to India by placing its marketing code “XY” on Jet Airways’ international flights connecting Jeddah to Mumbai, Riyadh to Mumbai and Delhi, as well as Dammam to Mumbai and Delhi. In a similar development, IndiGo has signed a code-share pact with Turkish Airlines for providing seamless connectivity to 20 global destinations to its passengers from Istanbul. In turn, Turkish Airlines’ passengers will have access to all destinations which are currently operated by IndiGo within India.
