Haryana government approves Rs 900 million for Ambala Sewerage Project, Phase II

The Haryana government has approved funds worth Rs 900 million for Phase II of the Ambala Sewage Project. The project involves laying 131 km of sewage pipelines in Ambala Sadar zone, including colonies in Babiyal, Machonda, Shahpur, Chandrapuri Colony, Sai ka Bagh and Shivala Mandi. It also envisages setting up of two intermediate sewage pumping stations at Defence Colony and Sai Bagh, and two STPs and two sewage pumping stations at Babiyal and Machonda villages. The project is being implemented under AMRUT and is expected to be completed in 15 months.
