Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to roll out VoWi-Fi services through carpet Wi-Fi networks. At present, BSNL is identifying Tier II and Tier III cities and highways to deploy the networks. Further, BSNL is installing 25,000 Wi-Fi hotspots under a government programme, which it aims to complete by the end of 2019.
