Delhi government inaugurates Wazirabad Signature bridge

The Delhi government inaugurated and commissioned the Wazirabad Signature bridge project on November 4, 2018. The project, implemented by the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation, will link Road No. 50 of NH-1 near existing T-point in Wazirabad on the western bank of the Yamuna river and the Marginal Bund road at Khajuri Khas on the eastern bank, thereby connecting North Delhi with East Delhi. The bridge project was implemented at an estimated cost of Rs 15.94 billion. Delayed by almost 14 years, the bridge is twice the size of the Qutab Minar.
