CDB Aviation has signed a long-term lease agreement with SpiceJet for leasing three of its Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft. This will help SpiceJet expand operations to international destinations and standardise its fleet. These efficient jets will also support the carrier’s ongoing efforts to achieve a reduction in maintenance costs and enhance domestic and international connectivity. The first Max aircraft is expected to be delivered in December 2018, with the remaining two slated for delivery in September and November 2019. Earlier, in January 2018, CDB Aviation and SpiceJet had entered into their first deal for the Max aircraft. With this new agreement, the carrier will have a total of eight Max aircraft on long-term lease from CDB Aviation.
