CONCOR eases terms to hire container vessels to commence coastal shipping operations

The Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) has eased the terms for hiring two container vessels for a period of 10 years to commence coastal shipping operations. CONCOR has eased the terms in view of the two failed attempts to hire vessels earlier. CONCOR has retained the exclusivity clause to haul bulk/break-bulk cargo, and loaded and empty containers between the Deendayal Port Trust and the New Mangalore Port Trust, and the Cochin Port Trust and the V.O. Chidambaranar Port Trust.
