The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the second bundle of national highways under the toll, operate and transfer (TOT) model. The bundle consists of eight national highway (NH) stretches in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Bihar and West Bengal. These highways span a total length of 586.55 km and 12 toll plazas are located on these eight stretches. The last date for bid submission is November 5, 2018. The stretches being offered under the second bundle are the 160.5 km Chittorgarh-Kota and Chittorgarh bypass stretch of NH-27 in Rajasthan; the 120.02 km Swaroopganj-Pindwara and Pindwara-Udaipur stretch of NH-27 in Rajasthan; the 45 km Palanpur/Khemana-Abu road stretch of NH-27 in Rajasthan/Gujarat; the 102.26 km Jetpur-Somnath stretch of NH-8D and NH-151 in Gujarat; the 36.3 km Purnea-Dalkhola section of NH-31 in Bihar; the 51.97 km Dalkhola-Islampur stretch of NH-31; the 44 km Islampur-Sonapur-Ghoshpokur stretch of NH-31 in West Bengal and the 26.5 km Salsabari-West Bengal/Assam border stretch of NH-31C in West Bengal. Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP has been appointed as the transaction adviser for the second bundle of TOT projects.
