A consignment of 1,233 tonnes of fly ash from NTPC Limited’s Kahalgaon power plant – was flagged off at Kahalgaon on National Waterway (NW)-1 for Pandu inland port on NW-2. Two barges of 1,000 tonne capacity each are expected to reach Pandu port via the Indo-Bangladesh protocol route by mid-September 2018.
