Five state agencies will provide a cumulative loan of Rs 50 billion to the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) for the construction of the Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway. These are the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, the City and Industrial Development Corporation, the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority, the Slum Rehabilitation Authority and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority. Each of these agencies will provide Rs 10 billion at an interest rate of 8-9.5 per cent.
