Blocks awarded under OALP I

Vedanta Resources has won 41 of the 55 blocks offered under the first oil and gas auction held under the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP I). Vedanta had put in bids for all 55 blocks offered. The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation and OIL won two blocks and nine blocks respectively. Of the 110 e-bids received for 55 acreages, 92 were received for onshore blocks and 18 for offshore blocks.
