The shareholders of Bharti Airtel have given the green signal to the company’s proposed merger with Tata Teleservices Limited (TTSL) during the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) proceedings. According to a regulatory filing by Bharti Airtel, the proposed arrangement between TTSL, Bharti Airtel and Bharti Hexacom was approved by a special resolution, which received 99 per cent votes in its favour. The voters comprised promoters, non-institutional shareholders and the public.
