The Andhra Pradesh Infrastructure and Investment Board has received interest from as many as 13 companies for the development of the Bhogapuram greenfield international airport project. These include Ramky Infrastructure Limited, the Essel Group, the GVK Group, the GMR Group, ADPI (France), NIIF (with Fraport), the Oberoi Group, AECOM (USA), Bangalore International Airport Limited and the Reliance Group. The project involves an investment of Rs 42.09 billion and will be developed on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis.
