The Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) in Maharashtra has appointed Nagpur Environmental Services Limited (NESL), a fully owned SPV of NMC, for the implementation of the Nag River Pollution Abatement Project. The decision was taken by the members of NMC, NESL, Nagpur Smart and Sustainable City Development Corporation Limited. The Japan International Cooperation Agency is expected to fund the Rs 12.52 billion project.
