Krishnapatnam port has announced the installation of Rapiscan Eagle P 60 (Eagle P60), a drive-through X-ray container scanner and radiation portal monitor. Besides reducing the service time and increasing security and safety at the port, the container scanner is expected to enhance the terminal’s overall performance. It will enable the port to increase the volume of import containers handled by at least 5,000 twenty-foot equivalent units per month.
