Concession agreement signed for the development of STP at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh

A concession agreement has been signed between Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam (UPJN), Mathura Wastewater Management Private Limited (MWMPL) and the National Mission for Clean Ganga under the Namami Ganga Programme for the development of a sewage treatment plant (STP) and associated infrastructure at Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. MWMPL is the SPV formed by Triveni Engineering and Industries Limited. A contract worth Rs 4.38 billion was awarded to MWMPL by the Yamuna Pollution Control Unit, UPJN. The project has been awarded in the hybrid annuity mode.
