Adani Transmission acquires 100 per cent equity in Ghatampur SPV

REC Transmission Projects Company Limited (RECTPCL) has transferred 100 per cent shares of SPV Ghatampur Transmission Limited to Adani Transmission Limited (ATL). ATL received the letter of intent for the implementation of the project on June 13, 2018. The project involves the establishment of a 900 ckt. km transmission line to evacuate power from the 1,980 MW Ghatampur power plant being developed in Uttar Pradesh. RECTPCL has been appointed as the bid process coordinator for the selection of a transmission service provider (TSP) for the project. The project is to be developed through the tariff-based competitive bidding route on a build-own-operate-maintain basis at an investment of Rs 1.96 billion.
