The MoR signed an MoU with Braithwaite and Company Limited (BCL) in May 2018. As per the targets under the MoU, BCL has projected its revenue from operations and wagon production at Rs 2.85 billion and Rs 13 billion respectively. The ministry has also signed an MoU with Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Limited (MRVC) in May 2018, thereby laying down the targets for 2018-19. As per the targets under the MoU, MRVC will spend Rs 14.64 billion towards the completion of various suburban projects for capacity enhancement, safety upgradation and passenger amenities. The MoR also signed an MoU with RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL) in May 2018. As per the MoU, RCIL has projected its revenue from operations at Rs 12 billion and several other targets regarding CCTV and Wi-Fi at stations, development of content on demand services on train, among others. In May 2018, the MoR signed an annual MoU with Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) regarding financial and non-financial targets for the company in 2018-19. The target for RVNL’s revenue from operations has been set at Rs 76 billion.
