MoR flags off new trains

Northeast Frontier Railway began operations of the Parcel Cargo Express Train (PCET) on a fortnightly basis in May 2018. The train connects the Northeast to the western part of the country, from new Guwahati in Assam to Kalyan in Maharashtra. The Durg-Ferozepur New Antyodaya Express was inaugurated in May 2018 and will run on a weekly basis. Very recently, the MoR also flagged off the Humsafar Jodhpur Bandra Express at Bhagat Kothi railway station in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The train is equipped with facilities such as mobile charging points, CCTVs and biotoilets. In April 2018, the Champaran Humsafar Express between Katihar and Delhi was also flagged off. The train will run biweekly, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
