CMWSSB revises mobiles water supply tariff

The Chennai Metro Water Supply and Sewerage Board  has revised the mobile water supply tariff for domestic and commercial customers, effective May 21, 2018. As per the revised tariff, a 6,000 kilolitre (kl) tanker will be priced at Rs 475 against the previous rate of Rs 400 for domestic and commercial customers. For commercial and institutional customers, the rate has been revised from Rs 510 to Rs 700. Besides, the price of water for a 9,000 kl tanker has been fixed at Rs 700 against the earlier price of Rs 600 and for commercial and institutional customers, the new rate has been increased to Rs 1,000 from Rs 765. For the 16,000 kl water tanker, the price has been increased by Rs 130 at Rs 1,200, while for commercial/institutional customers, the revised tariff is Rs 1,700 against the earlier Rs 1,360.
