Turkish ground-handling firm Çelebi Airport Services has been awarded the licence to run ground-handling operations at the Bengaluru international airport for a concession of 10 years. The concession, which will commence from August 2018, lets Celebi offer state-of-the-art ground-handling services at the airport to further enhance the customer experience. The company is planning to invest $7 million-$9 million in the airport to introduce global standards of ground-handling services. Recently, Çelebi was awarded a similar licence for ground-handling services for Kannur airport where it is expected to start operations later this year.
