Trial run commences on the second section of Delhi Metro Pink Line

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has commenced trial runs on the 8.1 km long Lajpat Nagar-Sir Vishweshwaraiah Moti Bagh section of the Delhi Metro, Phase III, Pink Line (Line 7). The section covers six stations, of which Sir Vishweshwariah Moti Bagh station is elevated and the remaining five – Bhikaji Cama Place, Sarojini Nagar, INA, South Extension and Lajpat Nagar – are underground. The Pink Line will span 58.59 km, of which the 21.56 km long Majlis Park-Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus section covering 12 stations is currently operational.
