DJB installs flow meters on underground reservoirs

The Delhi Jal Board has started the installation of flow meters on primary and secondary underground reservoirs. The board aims to gather real-time data on loss of water in the distribution network to keep a check on unaccounted-for water. An allocation of Rs 27.78 billion was made for water supply and sewage treatment for 2018-19. Nearly, 3,000 bulk meters will be installed in the city to check the amount of water being supplied to colonies.
