VPT grants extension to VCTPL for completing financial cloasure

The Visakhapatnam Port Trust (VPT) has granted an extension to Visakha Container Terminal Private Limited till June 2018 for the completion of financial closure for the container terminal expansion project. The proposed facility is expected to increase the cargo handling capacity at VPT from 0.4 million twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) to 0.94 million TEUs.
