Rs 6 billion sanctioned for nine cities in Haryana under AMRUT

Funds worth Rs 6 billion have been allocated for the implementation of nine projects across nine cities in Haryana. The sanction, under Phase II of  the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation, is for improving sewage, drinking water supply and drainage systems in the state. The funds will be utilised to improve the sewage systems in Bahadurgarh (Rs 418.8 million), Yamunanagar (Rs 494.9 million), Hissar (Rs 575.5 million), Rohtak (Rs 1.63 billion) and Palwal (Rs 999.9 million). Besides, Rs 950 million will be spent on improving the drinking water supply systems.
