The Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House (JNCH) has allowed the shifting of direct port delivery (DPD) containers not cleared within 48 hours of landing at the JNPT terminals to any of the 33 container freight stations (CFS) at the port. However, the shipping lines and the concerned CFS have to inform the importer/customs broker upon the shifting of such containers.
