AAI sets an expenditure target of Rs 41 billion for 2018-19

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has set a target of Rs 41 billion towards capital expenditure on airport infrastructure during 2018-19, to cater to about 94 per cent of the total projected passenger demand. It will also undertake an airport service quality survey at its top 20 airports while another survey will be carried out by the Airports Council International. An MoU has already been signed between the Ministry of Civil Aviation (MoCA) and AAI, specifying various parameters and targets to be met by AAI during the year.
