Trial run of Jadcherla WTP launched in Telangana

The trial run of the 77 mld Jadcherla water treatment plant (WTP) under the Mission Bhagiratha Water Grid Project (Telangana Drinking Water Grid Project) has been launched in Telangana. So far, about 95 per cent of the work has been completed in Mahbubnagar district under the project. The entire project is expected to be commissioned by end June 2018. The project is being implemented at a cost of Rs 428.53 billion. The pipeline work is being executed with the assistance of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation.
