The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has started spudding the first of the 34 wells at its $5.07 billion KG basin oil and gas project. Of the 34 wells, 15 are oil producing, 8 are gas producing and 11 are water injecting wells. ONGC is targeting gas production from the wells to begin by end 2019.
