MoRTH approves 24 road rehabilitation programmes

The MoRTH has approved 24 road rehabilitation programmes in Punjab, Nagaland, Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Of these, 12 projects are located in Nagaland; two each in Jammu & Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha; and one each in Punjab, West Bengal and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The approved projects in Nagaland span a total length of 264.93 km, and are to be implemented at an estimated total cost of Rs 32.21 billion. The projects in Jammu & Kashmir span 47.09 km and will be implemented at an estimated cost of Rs 11.7 billion, while those in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha span 61.97 km (Rs 4.73 billion) and 110.39 km (Rs 4.13 billion) respectively. The projects approved in Punjab span 46 km (Rs 2.93 billion), in West Bengal 11.9 km (Rs 2.54 billion) and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands 33.41 km (Rs 1.93 billion).
