IR inducts new machine for improved mechanised track maintenance

IR has inducted three 09-3X dynamic tamping express machines, valued at Rs 270 million each, to facilitate improved track maintenance. Further, within the next six months, another seven such machines are planned to be included in IR’s present fleet of 874 track maintenance machines for deployment on heavy density routes.
