Chennai Customs Zone permits 24×7 DPE/DPD at CONCOR’s Tondiarpet facility

The Chennai Customs Zone has permitted 24×7 direct port entry (DPE)/direct port delivery (DPD) at the Container Corporation of India’s (CONCOR) Tondiarpet facility. CONCOR has requested traders to avail the 24×7 DPE/DPD facility at Tondiarpet for faster turnaround of containers at a highly competitive and economical cost. In addition, the CONCOR terminal has been declared the designated container freight station for the movement of DPD containers lying at the port for more than two days.
