Production from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC)-owned Krishna Godavari-D5 block may be delayed due to regulatory policy changes and ONGC may miss the June 2019 deadline for starting production from the block. As per a regulatory filing by ONGC, the introduction of various new policies concerning the oil mining sector led to deferment of tendering activities for the project, and this could eventually lead to a delay in starting production.
