The Kolkata Port Trust (KoPT) has signed a concession agreement with Hooghly Oil and Gas Terminal Private Limited for setting up a liquid jetty at Shalukkali at the Haldia Dock Complex II. Hooghly Oil and Gas Terminal Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of IMC Limited, will develop the project on a design-build-finance-operate-transfer basis for a concession period of 30 years. The liquid jetty will have a capacity of 2.43 mtpa and is expected to cost Rs 1,725.2 million.
