JNCH makes uploading supporting documents through e-SANCHIT mandatory

The Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House (JNCH) has made it mandatory to upload supporting documents for all bills of entry filed in JNCH through the e-SANCHIT facility, with effect from March 15, 2018. As per the new guidelines, when a bill of entry is filed using the e-SANCHIT facility, a hard copy of the uploaded documents will not be required by the assessing officers. Instead, hard copies of the additional documents required during assessment should be uploaded through e-SANCHIT.
