NHAI sanctions Rs 3.14 billion for Kazhakuttam flyover project

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has sanctioned funds worth Rs 3.14 billion for the construction of the 2.34 km Kazhakuttam flyover in Kerala. The flyover will originate from Technopark on the Kazhakuttam-Karode bypass, move along the bypass corridor and Kazhakuttam junction, and end near the Kazhakuttam police station on National Highway 66. The project will be implemented by NHAI on an engineering, procurement and construction basis at an estimated cost of Rs 3.49 billion. Besides, the Kerala Public Works Department is yet to submit the alignment report for the project.
