NABARD sanctions Rs 1.23 billion for road projects in Mizoram

The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) has sanctioned Rs 1.23 billion for four road projects and one bridge project under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF XXII) in Mizoram. The projects are the Champhai-Khawbung-Khawchhaktuipui road project in Champhai district; the approach road to Marpara South in Lunglei district; the Buhchang-Phaisen road upgradation project in Kolasib district; the Chheihlu-Chakhang road upgradation project in Siaha district; and the Langkaih river two-lane built-up steel girder bridge project in Mamit district. All the projects are expected to be completed by 2021.
