The MoR is planning to implement projects valued close to Rs 480 billion in the Northeast. This includes a new railway line through Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh for which the final location survey is currently being undertaken and will take two years for completion. Once the survey is completed, the cabinet will be approached for project approval.
