The Karnataka government has approved Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited’s proposal to develop the Airport Metro Line in Bengaluru. The line will span 29.62 km from Nagawara to the Kempegowda International Airport, covering seven stations. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 59.5 billion and it is scheduled to be completed by 2021. The daily ridership is expected to be 125,000 passengers.
