Adani Power Limited has sought the approval of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for setting up an SEZ for the power sector in Jharkhand. The SEZ will be set up over an area of 425 hectares in Godda district of the state and will entail an investment of Rs 150.02 billion. The developer is currently in the process of acquiring land for the project.
