TRAI has issued the Telecom Interconnection Regulations, 2018, that list rules for signing network connectivity agreements between telecom service providers. The rules, which will come into effect from February 1, 2018, mandate service providers to enter into interconnection agreements on a non-discriminatory basis within 30 days of receiving a network connectivity request from another operator.
