A consortium comprising Siemens Limited (India) and Siemens AG (Germany) has secured a Euro 76.04 million contract from Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad [MEGA] Company Limited for the electrification of the Gujarat Metro Link Express. The scope of work includes the complete electrification of the double track line and the supply of the supervisory control and data acquisition system. The line is currently under construction and will span 39.2 km and cover 32 stations.
