Air Odisha and Air Deccan have entered into a partnership to share each other’s networks and resources so as to achieve economies of scale. The areas of cooperation include aircraft procurement, leases, maintenance, information technology systems, pilot and engineer training and flight operations, and inventory keeping, among others. Air Deccan and Air Odisha have bagged 34 and 50 routes respectively, in the first round of the Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). This partnership is expected to benefit them for operating flights under the RCS.
