The MoR has introduced a facility for booking reserved tickets from passenger reservation system counters and season tickets from unreserved ticketing system counters through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI)/ Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) application. This has been brought into effect from December 1, 2017, with no additional charge levied on passengers for using the UPI/BHIM facility for a period of three months.
